For those of you wondering if we're actually doing any school work over here, I'm posting my poem we had to write for Rome, and the sketches and watercolors we had to produce. We just got GIS data from the provence of Arrezo, and are working hard on our methodology projects.

Serene brilliant morning light gives way to daily bustle
in the City of marble and blue skies
Symmetry, perspective, changes over time
Cycles of power, greatness to decline
What lessons can we learn?
Ancient structures still standing
through the millennia
A sentry defying time
Sharing a glimpse of a glorious past
Leaving us to wonder what was
Vibrant twilight reflects colors only seen in dreams
Hastening an evening of delights
Though illuminated masterpieces we wander
Flowing water rushing over smooth stone
Your beauty forever changing, always remaining
